Welcome to our Spring Newsletter. We had a very busy winter and Tax Season and are gearing up for a busy June. If you have a corporation with a December 31st year end and have not yet sent us your information, please send it to us ASAP, using our convenient, secure portal. Our personal tax season is largely wrapped up. You may have heard that the CRA was unable to post taxpayer tax slips to their system and as a result, we were unable to double check against the tax slips you had submitted. We encourage you to review your records and if you received any tax slips subsequent to the filing of your tax return, please contact us to ensure the slip was included in your return. If not, an adjustment request may be required to avoid CRA interest and penalties.
We were sad to see our co-op students, Harveen Buttar, Joel D’Souza and Brandon Cao leave on April 30th after completion of their work experience with us. We hope to see them in the future. This Spring, we welcomed Olive Pasynkova as HR Assistant and welcomed Lynsey Sturgeon and Stepahanie Li back from maternity leave. Nodoka Matsui of our Admin department went on maternity leave March 31st. We’re excited to welcome a new member to the RB family with the arrival of their baby girl on May 14th. We wish Nodoka and her family many congratulations at this special time.
