The time was December 1958 and two young men in their 20’s, decided to open their own accounting firm. The company commenced operation under the name of Christian, Rolfe by Bill Christian and David Rolfe and was capitalized with the significant sum of $50. That was 65 years ago and the intervening period has seen significant changes in the accounting profession as well as the firm. Over the years we have seen partners join and partners retire. Currently we are very proud to have the third generation of partners transitioning into the firm. While people have come and gone, and technology has changed dramatically (one might argue there wasn’t much in the way of technology in 1958), the firm has stayed true to its core values. We have retained our status as an independent regional accounting firm serving the needs of our diverse client base. The strength behind our firm has always been its people which is reflected in the longevity and length of service of many of our partners and staff. Our greatest cheerleaders have been our clients, many of whom have been with us since we opened our doors in 1958. Our success continues through the support of our clients, partners, staff and overall community and we are very fortunate and appreciative of this affirmation. We look forward to many more years of serving the community and wish you all the best for 2023 as well as the next 65 years.
