The Opportunity:
- We are looking for a Workplace Manager to lead our Administration team and oversee the Firm’s workflow and facilities. The Workplace Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations of the Firm. The ideal candidate provides leadership in a mature and calm manner, can multitask a variety of challenges and responsibilities and has exceptional interpersonal skills coupled with a positive outlook.
The Job Description:
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervision of the Administrative team to ensure all Firm and client needs are met
- Monitor and manage the administrative progress of engagements and communicate with the team and Partners
- Be technologically savvy and adaptable to software; review and recommend improvements to administrative processes
- Oversee financial functions such as cash flow, reporting and internal systems and controls
- Research and recommend office equipment solutions; negotiate contracts with vendors
- Ensure adherence to the Firm’s standards and quality control procedures
- Participate in Committees, organize special Firm events; create and monitor budgets
The Qualifications:
- Experience in a public practice management role considered an asset but not essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role in professional services
- Strong technical skills with a creative flair to provide practical solutions
- Sound analytical, leadership, problem solving skills and professional judgment
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Ability to forge and maintain sound working relationships with partners and colleagues alike
- High standard of integrity and commitment to the Firm, its success and reputation
